CHALLENGE

Extremely long wait times at Connecticut’s DMV were further exacerbated in 2016 by the announcement that the AAA Northeast Motor Club would stop renewing licenses at its offices. The leadership team at Nutmeg saw a unique opportunity to extend their services into a new market and created a state government proposal to become a partner and provider for Connecticut’s DMV.

SOLUTION

Nutmeg chose to equip their new DMV Express Branches with Source Technologies kiosks, and utilizing Source Technologies CoreConnect Foundation, DaLand CUSO built a solution that offers license renewals with an average wait time of 8 minutes, as well as providing financial services for members and non-members alike.
