End-to-End Security
By "end-to-end" security, we mean our unique ability to secure check data all the way to the physical edge of your disbursement network: the printer. When deployed with our encryption-enabled MICR laser check printers, Source Technologies' payment software solutions virtually eliminate check fraud.
Our software controls both ends of the printer cable - allowing encrypted data to flow from the requestor, through the approval process, to the printer for decryption and printing, plus bi-directional confirmation back to the user for complete security and tracking.
Security features include:
- Password access and functional control by user and user-class
- Encrypted data all the way to the printer (requires both ST software and printers)
- Bi-directional feedback from the printer: MICR toner sensing, reprint suppression, jam recovery disable, print verification
- Blank check stock-- eliminates pilfering and unauthorized issuance
