Source Technologies’ Releases Secure Document Printer Family

CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 12, 2007 -Source Technologies, a leading provider of integrated solutions that help companies manage secure, real-time information and transactions, announced the availability of its Secure Document Printer line. Both the ST9530sd and ST9550sd provide extensive security and control features that let companies maintain control over printing of time- and information-intensive documents, such as prescriptions, medical records, birth certificates, social security cards and manufacturing control documents.

These printers help customers cut costs and increase productivity by eliminating manual document controls, managing output exceptions in real-time, and significantly reducing internal reviews and auditing of secure document printing. Additionally, they provide cost-effective enterprise-wide control and tracking of output for corporate compliance purposes.

Capabilities of the ST9530sd include print speeds up to 35 pages per minute, a first-page print rate of 6 seconds and duty cycle of up to 200,000 pages per month. The ST9550sd has print speeds of up to 50 pages per minute, a print rate of 8.5 seconds and duty cycle of up to 225,000 pages per month. Security features of both printers include encryption and bi-directional print control, key-locked paper trays and electronic audit trails of printed output.
