Source Technologies Introduces High-volume Check Printing Solution
-Levi, Ray and Shoup (LRS) joined forces with Source Technologies to enhance output management and security for specialized applications-
CHARLOTTE N.C., May 2, 2005 -Source Technologies, a leading provider of integrated solutions for managing financial transactions and other secure business processes, has partnered with Levi, Ray and Shoup, Inc. (LRS), a privately held global ITleader. The two companies joined forces to provide secure end-to-end specialized MICR printing solutions.
Customers with AFP/Xerox print streams can now take full advantage of distributed printing of checks and other negotiable documents. LRS’ solutions enable conversion to Postscript, PCL, or other Page Description Languages (PDLs), and then deliver output to Source Technologies’ MICR-enabled printers. LRS Secure solutions work with Source Technologies’ secure MICR laser printers and check printing software to protect distributed or centralized printing of checks and Image Replacement Documents (IRDs), applying end-to-end encryption that meets AES guidelines and Federal Government standards.
The relationship brings together unique new offerings that provide enhanced output management and security for specialized applications like distributed check printing,” said John Runions, Global Business Alliances manager for LRS. “We look forward to using the additional offerings from Source Technologies, and anticipate great success with the extended client base we now have.
Remote ASP customers (especially in financial and health industries) have additional output management requirements, which can include forms design and management. Source Technologies’ software solutions incorporate easy-to-use tools for forms design and management, especially for checks and IRDs.
“This partnership will yield a broader, more robust suite of products for specialized MICR-printer users,” said Miles Busby, president of Source Technologies. “We look forward to a long and successful relationship with LRS.
